A great number of the choir's good friends from near and far as well as many former Crucians support the Dresdner Kreuzchor in material and non-material ways as members of the Friends Society. The Society's various support activities directly facilitate the everyday choral work and life of the Crucians by providing the Alumnat with sports equipment, games, computer, and video equipment and by selling CDs at concert venues.
The Society is particularly active in preserving the traditions of the choir by continuously expanding the archive of the school and the choir. For many years the musical achievements of the choir have been documented in a CD archive series presenting recent as well as historical concert recordings of the Dresdner Kreuzchor at regular intervals. Exclusive productions, these recordings publicise both the work of the Dresdner Kreuzchor and the objectives of the Friends Society.
The Friends Society accepts any natural or legal persons as members wishing to support the Dresdner Kreuzchor. Anyone who feels close to the Dresdner Kreuzchor should consider him- or herself to be heartily invited to join the Friends Society.
